Delivering an 800gm child in only 28 weeks
Today, Technology has become much more advanced. But in the year 2005 when medical facilities especially in the field of gynaecology were not advanced, Dr. Falgoon Parikh handled a very critical case and delivered a girl only after 28 weeks of pregnancy, her baby’s weight being 800 gm. Such cases were very rare at that time in India.
First Gynec ICU
All medical equipment for continuous monitoring of the Mother and the foetus in the womb. All-inclusive healthcare of pregnant mothers is the primary objective of this one-of-a-kind ICU unit.
14 kg tumour removed from woman's stomach
In a very rare and exceptional case in 2009, Dr Falgoon Parikh successfully removed a 14 kg ovarian tumour from a woman’s abdominal cavity. The risk was high. If the tumour ruptures during the surgery, it could spread to other organs. But this critical surgery was performed by him and the woman’s life was saved.
