He has been one of the pioneers in the treatment of high-risk and critical pregnancies from the beginning of his career and established the first Gynaecology ICU unit in Ahmedabad in 2006. Comprehensive healthcare of pregnant mothers is the paramount goal of the establishment.

Biography
Born on 16th April 1956, Dr Falgoon Parikh had a keen interest in academics. He did his schooling from Jamnagar and got admission in M.P Shah medical college of Jamnagar. Due to his hard work and ambitious nature, he consecutively got 5th, 2nd and 5th ranks in the first, second and third year of M.B.B.S. in the entire University. He got an M;.B.,B.S degree in the year 1980. He received his M.D. degree in Gynaecology in 1983 and was declared the first in the University.
One more feather was added to his cap when he became the youngest class-I officer at the age of 27 years & became H.O.D at Civil Hospital, Gandhinagar.
1985 onwards, he established his private practice.
Dr Falgoon Parikh follows a diverse schedule in his routine and is adventurous with a keen interest in activities such as Swimming, Scuba Diving, Cave tracking, and driving in the most rugged Roads. He also believes in giving back to society and has pledged to donate his organs.
